A trip to one of Himachal Pradesh’s most remote and unexplored locations is the Kinnaur-Spiti Jeep Safari. The Pin-Parbati and Hindustan Tibet highways are used for the 875 km Kinnaur-Spiti Valley road route from Shimla to Spiti. With breathtaking views of snow-covered mountains, gushing streams, lush valleys, and high-altitude deserts, this is one of the most exciting road excursions in all of India. While Spiti is well-known for its high-altitude desert vistas, Kinnaur is noted for its apple orchards. Rampur, Narkanda, Kufri, Sarahan, Sangla, and Tabo are a few of the attractive towns that are encountered on the way. Anytime of the year is a good time to take this road trip, but May to September are the greatest months because of the favourable weather.
